CPRW have been made aware of several areas where there are ancient cultural and historical artefacts such as standing stones, burial grounds, dykes, and roman roads are being destroyed for renewable projects around Wales. The archeological assessment for the Twyn Hywel proposal - between Senghenydd, Cilfynydd and Nelson - has been called not fit-for-purpose by a leading archaeologist and rock art specialist. We need to ensure that our heritage is protected as we transition to net zero and make sure parts of Welsh cultural history are not lost for good!
