At CPRW, we believe that pride in place and community spirit often shine through in the smallest details—like the humble rural bus stop.
This year, we’re excited to launch our Best Kept Rural Bus Stop award—a light-hearted but meaningful initiative celebrating the quiet corners of rural life where community and countryside meet. From flower tubs to hand-painted signs, these stops are often lovingly cared for and full of local character.
We’re inviting each CPRW branch to nominate a special bus stop that reflects the heart of its community—not just for tidiness, but for charm, creativity, and connection.
The winning stop will receive a plaque, be featured in our Hiraeth magazine and across social media this autumn. So, whether it’s brightened by a lick of paint or full of local stories, we want to hear about it.
Let’s celebrate the little things that bring our rural communities together—one bus stop at a time. Any questions email Caroline Conway – caroline@cprw.org.uk
