Castle Cement Ltd, Padeswood Works, Chester Road, Mold, CH7 4HB has been approved with conditions
This DNS will integrate the Padeswood cement works into the HyNet North West network through the capture of CO2 for transportation and subsequent storage in the Liverpool Bay storage facilities. This will involve the laying of an underground pipeline, some 10 km in length, from the Padeswood Cement Works to the Northop Hall AGI (Above Ground Installation) that forms part of the HyNet CO2 pipeline.
