We are pleased to let you know that Natural Resources Wales has now launched the Statutory Consultation on the proposed North East Wales (Clwydian Range & Dee Valley) National Park. This is a major step forward in the designation process, and CPRW is fully supportive of the proposal.
The consultation sets out the proposed boundary, evidence base, and supporting information, and will run through autumn 2025.
As part of this process, Statutory Consultation Events are being held locally to give communities the chance to learn more and share their views. We would warmly encourage members to attend if possible, both to stay informed and to show visible support for the creation of the National Park.
